The weekly Reef & Run series is hosted in front of the Cabrillo Bath House on Thursday evenings.
Reef & Run will be returning for its fourth season at Santa Barbara’s Cabrillo Bath House next Thursday.
To celebrate the first week, which coincides with the Summer Solstice, the races will be free for all contestants.
This year brings change as Reef & Run will now include a 500m swim along with maintaining the traditional 1k swim, 1 mile swim and Biathlon (1k swim and beach run). The local races, although in the same location, have also been moved from Tuesdays to Thursdays.
Reef & Run costs $15 per race or $120 for a season pass. Races begin at 6:30 with registration at 5:30.
