All-Frontier League Baseball

Aidan Williams and JD Yonke led Bishop Diego’s baseball team to a league title this season and have now been named the Frontier League’s Most Valuable Player and Pitcher for their efforts.

Yonke was 4-0 in league starts this season. Three were complete game performances with no earned runs allowed.

Williams, a sophomore shortstop, batted .426 for the season and led the Cardinals in just about every offensive category, including RBI (23) and hits (29).

Teammates Nolan Tooley, John Salda, Jack Gregson and Sam Kwock were named to the league’s First Team.  Scott Mandrell, RJ Cordeiro and Reese Moulton made the Second Team.

Santa Clara’s Jimmy Walker was named Coach of the Year.
