Cate girls lacrosse earned the second seed in the Northern Division CIF playoffs, recieving a bye in Tuesday’s first round. The Rams will open their playoff run on Thursday at home against the winner of Mira Costa and Peninsula.
The Rams would also be home for Saturdays semi-final round if they should win on Thursday. The championship match is scheduled for Wednesday, May 9th or Thursday, May 10th at a neutral site.
Cate swept the Condor League Championship 4-0 and finished with a season record of 11-1. Their one loss this season came from the top-seeded Palos Verdes with a 21-18 score.
