Cate’s boys volleyball team bested Providence Hall in Sprague Gym on Wednesday 25-19, 26-28, 25-19, 25-13.
Senior outside hitter Bowen Baker led the Rams with 11 kills. Spencer Whiteman posted 10 kills and Walker Ross and Michael Castaneda recorded nine each. Rams head coach Richard Pertsulakes credited setter Shyam Akula with putting balls in good places all match long.
The Rams improve to 2-4 on the season before beginning Condor League play on Friday at Laguna Blanca. That match begins at 5:15 p.m.
