The Santa Barbara High boys golf team shot rounds of 293 and 313 at the La Quinta Champions Invitational and sits in fifth place with one more round to play.
James Morton led the Dons on Tuesday with rounds of 69 and 76. The Dons have a total team score of 606.
Santa Margarita’s Beau Hossler shot rounds of 65 and 68 to lead all golfers at the tournament, and his team sits in first place with a score of 567.
Santa Barbara will finish the final round tomorrow.
