Mason Casady and Andrew Tufenkian combined to win 18 of the 19 games they played on Thursday in a 14-4 Channel League win for the Chargers.
Casady and Tufenkian led a doubles effort that saw Dos Pueblos win 8-of-9 sets.
Dos Pueblos’ singles players had a perfect day in matches that didn’t have Ventura’s Jacob Rucker across the net. Rucker swept three sets as the Cougars’ No. 1 singles player.
Patrick Corpuz and Sam Boulanger won twos set each in singles for Dos Pueblos.
While not quite as dominant as Casady-Tufenkian, Caleb Franzen and Jake Roberts also claimed three sets without a loss for the Chargers.
The victory ups the Chargers’ league record to 4-1. Ventura falls to 2-6.
