SBCC sweeps Bakersfield 9-0

SBCC played through the windy conditions to hand Bakersfield a 9-0 loss on Tuesday in a WSC men’s tennis match at Bakersfield.

The Vaqueros improved to 2-1 in conference and gave coach Ryan Heinberg the first sweep of his three-year tenure as head coach. Sean Moazezi won his No. 5 singles match, 6-4, 6-7 (11-9) and 10-6 in a 10-point tiebreaker.

“It was really windy and everyone kept their composure and battled through it,” said Heinberg.

The Vaqueros host Glendale on Thursday at 2 p.m.
