SBCC picks up win No. 10

SBCC posted an 8-1 women’s tennis win at Bakersfield on Friday to reach 10 wins for the third straight season.

Lindsay Penner won her No. 6 singles 6-0, 6-0 and Megan Thomas posted a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 4. The Vaqueros won their fourth straight to improve to 10-1 on the year and 4-1 in WSC action.

SBCC travels to Ventura on Tuesday. The Pirates were the only team to beat the Vaqueros in the first round of conference.
