PHOTO GALERY INTRO: In the Channel League opener for both teams, the Chargers escaped with a 2-0 victory over the Royals in a pitcher’s duel between DP’s Hannah Harris and San Marcos’ Kristen Berlo. Harris collected 12 strikeouts and Berlo did one better with 13.

But Harris’ Chargers got the win to improve to 3-1 on the season while the Royals fall to 0-5.
