The 2012 Big West Tournament champion UCSB women’s basketball team will host a viewing party on Monday afternoon in the Reitnouer Auditorium in the Intercollegiate Athletics building on campus.
The viewing party, to coincide with the NCAA Selection Show on Monday, is open to the public and the media. The 2012 Gauchos, who won their 14th Big West Tournament title on Saturday, will all be in attendance, as will the entire coaching staff, including first-year head coach Carlene Mitchell.
UCSB defeated Long Beach State, 63-54, in the Big West title game on Saturday at the Honda Center and will await its seeding into the NCAA Tournament with Monday’s Selection Show. The Selection Show begins at 4 p.m. on the ESPN family of networks and doors to the Reitnouer Auditorium will open at 3:45 p.m.
Ticket information for the NCAA Tournament will be available immediately after the Selection Show.
