Faith Emerson and Sydney Hedges made the Southern Section’s All-CIF Division 6 girls basketball team, it was announced Monday.
The duo represent Providence Hall, which made the CIF Division 6 championship game in only its second year of sanctioned CIF competition. The Lions lost out to Orangewood Academy and co-CIF Players of the Year Raquel Spencer and Jareni Nunez.
Emerson, a senior, averaged 11 points, eight rebounds, five assists and four steals per game.
Hedges, a junior, averaged 13 points per game, six rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Providence Hall finished with an 18-8 record and reached the State Tournament.
