Dos Pueblos fell to Newport Harbor 14-11 in the quarterfinals of the Irvine Southern California Championships on Friday.
Jamie Neushul scored six goals for the Chargers, who never led in the game. They will play Los Alamitos in a fifth-place semifinal match at 9 a.m. at the William Woollett Aquatics Center in Irvine.
Shannon Cleary scored two goals for DP and Jordan Williams, Kara Horwald, Ari St. Oegger added one each. Kodi Hill didn’t score, “but she played great,” said coach Chris Parrish.
