Santa Barbara High led twice in the fourth quarter but not when the final horn soundewd, as No. 3 seeded Laguna Beach was able to survive the Dons 11-10 in a CIF Division 1 quarterfinal game.
Yoshi Anderson led Laguna with five goals but it was Sydney Saxe who came through with the game-winner in the final minute.
Santa Barbara had won the two previous meetings between the teams this season but
Laguna Beach advances to play No. 2 Newport Harbor in Wednesday’s semifinals.
