Dos Pueblos went cold down the stretch and dropped a 46-43 boys basketball decision to Buena in the Channel League finale on Thursday night.
Mansai Conner scored 15 points and Daniel Vickers added 10 points for the Chargers, who were coming off an emotional win over Santa Barbara. They finish 7-16 and 4-8 in league.
“It was a close game throughout,” DP coach Joe Zamora said. “Both teams took smalll leads, but in the end, Buena converted on the offensive end and we weren’t able to finish on our offensive end.”
