Warriors make Miller’s perfect shooting night count

Westmont’s men’s basketball team won for the eleventh time in 13 games this season, this one an 86-61 blowout GSAC victory over visiting San Diego Christian.

Christopher Miller had a perfect shooting night. Miller made all seven field goals attempted, including three from behind the arc, and both of his free throws to total a team-high 19 points.

Landon Boucher was Westmont’s second-leading scorer with 18.

San Diego featured three players with 10 or more points. San Diego Christian, which hasn’t won a conference game in four tries, shot less than 30 percent in the first half and fell behind 44-23 at the break.

In stark contrast, the Warriors connected on almost 62 percent of their shots for the entire game.

The Warriors, 11-2 overall, are now 3-1 in conference. The Master’s is currently out front at 4-0, and Azusa Pacific and Concordia are at 3-1 with the Warriors.
