McKenzie Scarborough and Becca Braly scored back-to-back goals to rally Laguna Blanca from 1-0 deficit in the first half, and the Owls added a goal in the second half for a 3-1 Condor League girls soccer win over visiting Thacher on Wednesday.
Thacher scored on its first shot, but Laguna Blanca responded quickly. Scarborough broke through the defense and tucked her shot away to tie the score. Braly followed with the go-ahead goal.
Tiana Bonn scored four minutes into the second half for the Owls.
Assistant coach Kevin Shertzer lauded the play of Ari Rodriguez in the middle, wing player Maddy Bonser and defender Clara Madsen.
