Owls get lots of contributions in rout of Providence Hall

Laguna Blanca used good ball movement and unselfish play to shred Providence Hall’s zone-trap defense and romp to a 79-35 non-league boys basketball win Saturday morning at Westmont College.

Five Owls scored in double figures, led by Brandon Bickett’s 21 points. He knocked down five 3-pointers. Andrew Vignolo scored 20 points, J.T. Aubrey added 16 and six assists and Justin Shand tallied 10 points.

Logan Elder led the Owls’ defensive effort, holding Providence Hall’s Nathan Dutcher to zero field goals on the day and just 4 points at the line.

Freshman Matthew Eaton led Providence Hall with 14.

Laguna Blanca improves to 7-4 on the season while Providence Hall is 6-8.
