The Carpinteria High girls water polo team started the second half of their game at Nordhoff on fire and scored seven goals in the third quarter en route to an 11-5 victory.
Maddie Brooks had five goals in the game, while Hope Grant also had an excellent offensive performance with four goals. Tatiana Verdugo and Leticia Cruz were the other goalscorers for the Warrios with a goal apiece.
Vanessa Vega turned in a fine match in goal with 10 saves while holding Nordhoff to just three goals in the first three quarters.
