Katie Carillo recorded a season high in points for Laguna Blanca girls basketball team, but the Owls were bettered by Cabrillo 39-25 as part of the Bishop Diego Tournament.
Carillo had eight points to lead the team in scoring.
“We had six, they had an army,” said Owls head coach Chris Foster. “I give my girls a lot of credit, they battled.”
It was 19-12 Cabrillo at halftime.
Laguna has one game left in the tournament on Saturday against Providence Hall.
