The Santa Barbara High girls volleyball team swept Ventura to earn second place in the Channel League behind Dos Pueblos.

The Dons finished 6-2 against league competition, with both losses coming against the Chargers.

“As much as we would have liked to beat Dos Pueblos, those are quality losses,” head coach John Gannon said.  “I feel like we have an opportunity to go into the playoffs and do some damage in the playoffs.”

Santa Barbara finished with an overall record of 17-11.  The Dons receive their playoff draw on Saturday and play their first postseason match on Tuesday.
