Jamie Neushul’s eight goals left Dos Pueblos’ girls water polo team in good shape on Tuesday, as the Chargers were able to hand Cabrillo a 20-5 defeat at the Elings Aquatic Center.
After the first quarter, the score was Jamie Neushul 5, Cabrillo 1 as the sophomore tallied all five of the Chargers’ goals in the first frame. By halftime, DP was in the lead 10-3.
Dos Pueblos returns three starters from last year’s CIF championship team: Neushul, Kodi Hill and Arianna St. Oegger.
The Chargers travel this weekend, taking on Corona del Mar and Foothill in Orange County on Friday and Saturday.
