Gibbs’ 17 leads Warrior attack

Nate Gibbs poured in 17 points in 15 minutes of playing time for Westmont on Saturday as the Warriors buried St. Thomas of Florida 89-62.

Gibbs came off the bench and made 6-of-8 shots to get his 17. Preston Branson was the only other Warrior in double figures with 15.

Fifteen Warriors checked into the game for Westmont and thirteen scored.

David Nesbitt posted a double-double for St. Thomas with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Westmont improves to 3-1. St. Thomas is 1-4.
