Tess Martin pounded 14 kills and hit .542 to lead Westmont College to a sweep over San Diego Christian in a GSAC women’s volleyball match on Saturday. The game scores were 25-19, 25-18,25-19.
Westmont improved to 6-12 overall and 4-6 in the GSAC. San Diego Christian is 5-10 0-10.
Westmont got a balanced atttack. Marie Trudelle, Madison Serrano and Nicole Miller each had seven kills and Alexandria added six.
Setters Heidi Thompson and Candice Adema both dished out 22 assists.
Westmont held San Diego Christian to a .118 hitting percentage. The Warriors hit .254.
