Malibu, the fourth ranked team in CIF Division 6, roared out to a 6-1 halftime lead and kept the pressure on Carpinteria en route to a 13-4 Tri-Valley League water polo win on Wednesday.
The Sharks added four goals in the third period to increase their lead to a 10-3.
Cole Gill, Thomas Fly, Ben O’Hara and Dylan Hathaway scored for Carpinteria, which fell to 7-12 and 2-3 in league. Malibu is 5-0 in league.
