The Santa Barbara High boys water polo was unable to get past semifinal opponent El Toro and lost 13-6 at the Villa Park Tournament in Orange County.
Deuces were wild for Alec Linz in the game as he had two goals, two steals, and two assists in the losing effort. Colin Frisgot contributed another goal and two drawn ejections.
In a third-place consolation match, the Dons defeated Rio Americano from Sacramento, and received five goals from Evan Robertson and three goals from Cristian Bridley.
Sean McGee had 12 saves in the match, and was named to the All Tournament team along with Nick Johnson.
Santa Barbara continues Channel League play against San Marcos on Tuesday.
