The Cate girls cross country team finished second at the opening Condor League meet at Thacher, and the boys team unofficially finished second to Thacher, pending final scores.
For the girls Denali Tietjen led Cate and finished sixth overall with a time of 22:31. Other notable times in the race were Adrian Walsh (9th, 22:57), Charlotte Bowles (10th, 22:59), Grace Dickman (15th, 25:04), and Jasmine Paz (17th, 26:03).
For the boys Jeffrey Acheampong led Cate with an eighth place finish.
Cate will host the next league meet on Wednesday.
