Acheampong fastest freshman at Shoreline Park

Cate freshman Jeffrey Acheampong ran the course at the Dos Pueblos Invitational at Shoreline Park in 17:50 to win the freshman boys races and earned one of 11 medals by Cate runners on the day.

Each grade level has its own designated race, and the top 20 finishers earn medals.  In the history of the Cate program, no team has ever earned as many medals at a single meet.

The team will take time off next week and return to running on October 26th in a league meet at the Ojai Valley School.

  1. Oh but check out these Cate freshmen and sophmores from other countries.  Their mucsle developement and how they carry themselves make them look like 18-20 years old.  Maybe they should be competing at City College?

  2. I’ve seen these frosh and soph from Cate…Their muscle tone is well beyond that of a 14or 15 year old.  Maybe they should be running at city college.
