Robertson has two fourth quarter goals in Santa Barbara victory

After trailing by two goals at half-time, the Santa Barbara high boys water polo team clawed their way back into the lead with two fourth-quarter goals from Evan Robertson and beat Foothill 11-9 at the South Coast Tournament in Orange County.

“I was really proud of our comeback,” head coach Mark Walsh said.  “It was a real good win for us.”

Robertson finished the match with four goals.  Cristian Bridley had a major contribution with two goals and four steals.

Robertson’s goals provided the push necessary for the victory, but the Dons’ defense was solid throughout the game and held  Foothill to just one goal in the fourth quarter.

Santa Barbara continues tournament play tomorrow against Long Beach Wilson.
