Providence Hall plays team ball to defeat VCA

The Providence Hall girls volleyball team was balanced and focused Friday night in their home victory over Valley Christian Academy in four sets.

Olivia Johnson led the team with four kills as they went on to win 25-9, 25-23, 21-25, and 25-13.

Lacey Gonzalez and Olivia Barroca had two kills each, and Faith Emerson had an excellent night serving with seven aces.

After losing the third set, the team was sparked in the fourth match by yet another Olivia.

Freshman Olivia LeSage served for nine consecutive points, including three aces, to help close out the final game.

Providence Hall (2-1) plays next at Trinity Classical Academy in Valencia on Monday.
