The Charger boys finsihed fifth out of 28 teams in the race, and were third amongst Division II schools.

Head coach Leslie Wiggins-Roth set the tone for her team by winning the women’s division at the Higashi Roman Memorial Race, which took place before the high school races. Roth ran the course in 19:18 and set a new course record.

Selected runners from the Dos Pueblos team will compete at the Ojai Invite on Sept. 17, and Channel League competition starts on Sept. 21.
