Bishop Diego was unable to gain ground in doubles play in its league opener at home against Villanova and lost 13-5.
The team of Emily Duncan and Tammie Thompson scored the only doubles point, while Meredith Amspoker and Emilee Krablin each won two of their three games.
Bishop Diego continues their season at home against Santa Paula on Tuesday.
