Brandon Bickett threw three touchdown passes and had 44 yards rushing in Laguna Blanca’s 27-14 win over Santa Maria Valley Christian Academy in an eight-man football game.
Bickett spread the ball around, hitting Logan Elder, Andrew Vignolo, and Quentin Tedesco for his three scoring passes. Tedesco also contributed 41 yards rushing and scored on a run.
The game’s top two statistical performers also came through in big moments for the Owls. Bickett kept the momentum on Laguna Blanca’s side with a key third-down conversion in the second half while Tedesco sealed the victory with a 36-yard touchdown run on a reverse.
Laguna Blanca continues its season next Saturday at Hesperia Christian.
