Chris Noggle was nearly unhittable for the Dos Pueblos Little League Under-12 All-Stars in a 10-0 win over Ventura Foothill in the first game of the double elimination round of the District 63 Tournament on Saturday.
Noggle struck out eight in 3 1/3 innings and allowed only one hit.
Wyatt Boyle and Jake Yamasaki paced the offense with three RBIs apiece. Boyle hit two singles and walked, while Yamasaki had a pair of singles and a walk. Noggle scored three times.
Dos Pueblos is back in action on Sunday, playing Goleta Valley South at 1:30 p.m. at Girsh Park for a spot in the championship game.
Undefeated Dos Pueblos is actually playing Sunday at 1:30 against Undefeated GVSLL.
