Reminder of Comments Policy

To All Presidio Sports Visitors –

First off, we would like to thank you for coming to us for your local sports news and information. As our audience has grown, so too has the number of participants making comments on articles.

While Presidio Sports encourages comments at the bottom of our stories, we ask those using our platform to abide by the guidelines we’ve set up.

We appreciate differing opinions but we will not tolerate attacks on others. We will remove any comment we deem to be racist, ill-natured, mean-spirited, vulgar or threatening, among other things. Any person who creates a comment that we have to remove will be blacklisted from further posts.

Additionally, Presidio Sports reserves the right to remove any comment it deems inappropriate, irresponible or slanderous.

Comment boards are a great way for readers to congratulate athletes on jobs well done and accomplishments worth noting. They also are a forum for intelligent and lively dialogue, Please do not take this privilege for granted.

Again, Presidio Sports supports the presence of a public forum where voices can be heard. But we ask for your cooperation in making the discourse civil and hopefully good natured.

Thank you for your support.

Talk about a change in policy.
1st you let anyone post anything they want without your review and now you censor any comment people make unless it is really nice and positive.
How come you didn’t post my comment on the Radeke article?  All I said was I hope the kid earns his college degreee in case his baseball career doesn’t work out. What’s wrong with that?  Nothing personal, nothing negative there.
A main reason I read presidio sports is for the reader comments, not necessarily the articles, but if you plan on censoring what people write then I’m out of here.
