Former UCSB star Jeff Menzel has traded in his blue and gold for the red, white and blue as the All-American is now a member of the Pan American Team, representing USA Volleyball.
Menzel, who led UCSB to the NCAA Tournament title match, is part of the 12-man Pan Am Team, which has already begun playing in the 2011 Pan American Cup in Quebec, Canada.
The 6-foot-6 outside hitter has seen action in all of Team USA’s matches thus far and chipped in six kills on Tuesday in a victory over Panama.
