Club West All-County Photo Gallery

Six new records were set at Sunday’s Club West All-County Championships, as hundreds of youth track & field athletes from throughout Santa Barbara County competed at La Playa Stadium.

Gavin Gayfiled, of St. Louis de Montfort Elementary School, broke two records in the first and second grade division. Gayfiled excelled in the 200 meter run and the boys long  jump.

Other new records included Vandenburg Village’s Jordan Sanders. She won the 5-6 grade girls shot put with a throw of  32 feet and 4.75 inches.

Goleta Valley Junior High’s Natalie Klapp captured a new record in the 7-8 grade 100-meter sprint in a time of 12.37.

Kellog School’s Jack Randmaa is another record holder, setting the new mark in the boys 5-6 grade 3000 meter. Randmaa completed the race in 11:10.02.
