San Marcos tops Buena in four

San Marcos volleyball came off its break with a win, beating Buena in four games on Tuesday at home, 21-25, 25-20, 25-18, and 25-14

Royals setters Neil Holliday delivered 47 assists to his hitters.  Jackson Kunz  had 21 kills on only two errors and Ian Dahill  had 12 kills in his first start of the season.

“We had a lot of hitters that had a lot of kills. I thought we were still trying to find ourselves, but it was a good win after our break,” said coach Roger Kuntz

The Royals moved to 12-4 overall and 1-2 in league.

San Marcos begins the Tournament of Champions at Santa Barbara High by facing Santa Margarita on Friday at 4:45.
