San Marcos baseball was shut out 6-0 against Ventura on Friday, dropping to 0-6 in the Channel league.
Marshall Comden pitched a complete game for Ventura, allowing 7 hits for the game.
Evan Doherty pitched a complete game for the Royals, allowing just 6 hits while striking out 4.
Ventura’s defense played well against Royals hitters.
