Grossmont edges Vaqueros 5-4

Grossmont took a 2-0 lead before Friday’s nonconference men’s tennis match due to defaults and went on to beat SBCC 5-4 at Pershing Park.
The Vaqueros (0-9) had to forfeit the No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles because they only had five players due to spring break. Troy Akin and Simo El Azzouzi posted singles wins while Azzouzi-Regis Fastrez and Akin-Che Borja prevailed in doubles.
