Dos Pueblos finishes Channel League season on winning note

Jake Roberts and Matt Long each won two sets in singles, helping Dos Pueblos defeat Buena 12-6, in the Chargers final Channel League tennis match.

In doubles action, Buena’s Peter Prudhomme and Noah Kilman (normally in singles), played aggressive together and lost only two games in their three rounds.

After Mason Casady and Richard Cheng grinded through that  first set against Prudhomme and Kilman, they regrouped and lost only two more games in their next two rounds.

The Chargers improve their record to 10-7 and finished Channel League at  5-3.

On Thursday, Jake Roberts and Caleb Franzen head to Ojai for the CIF Doubles Division at the Ojai Valley Invitational Tennis Tournament.
