Cate’s boys volleyball team dropped to 0-3 after being swept by Nordhoff 25-13, 25-17, 25-20 on Friday.
Although both Nader Batal and libero Jaemin Cheune displayed great passing throughout the game, Nordhoff’s tough defense stopped Cate from making any offensive runs, said coach Dan Matheson.
