Bishop Diego scored the first run of the game, but Nordhoff took advantage of six walks and beat the Cardinals 5-1 in a non-league baseball game in Ojai.
Jack Gregson doubled in Cody Yokubaitis for the Bishop’s lone run.
“This was a good tuneup for league,” Bishop coach Dan Yokubaitis said.
The Cardinals open Frontier League play at Santa Clara.
