Six different players scored for Cate in Saturday’s 14-1 blowout of Newbury Park.
Alexis Hill and Brennan Cusack led the way for the Rams, combining for nine goals. Hill was the day’s top scorer with five goals.
Cate assistant coach Linda Sommers cited the Rams’ dominance on draw plays for being a big factor in their win. Cate won 13-of-16 draws, including six from Annie Weis.
“It was a great team effort with all of our players getting a good amount of time on the field,” Sommers said.
Weis, Lisa Huang, Grace Gail and Abby Killea also scored for Cate.
Cate (3-3, 1-0) hosts Oak Park on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
