Bryan Swarm, who guided Carpinteria to one of its best water polo seasons in school history, was honored as coach of the year in the Tri-Valley League.
The Warriors went 8-2 in league play, finishing second behind perennial power Malibu.
Two Carpinteria players were selected to the all-TVL first team. They are senior 2-meter player Carter Grant and senior driver Roxanne Hugo.
Cate, which finished third in the league, had senior 2-meter player Kate Montgomery named to the first team.
Second-team selections from Carpinteria were Hope Grant, a sophomore 2-meter, and junior goalkeeper Tatiana Verdugo; from Cate, freshman driver Caroline Montgomery made the team.
Honorable mention selections were Gabi Garcia from Carpinteria and Lela Puckett and Carly Biedul of Cate.
