The Bishop Diego swim team competed at Santa Barbara High’s meet on Thursday, and Shannon Slaught, improved her times of by 2 seconds in the 100 breaststroke, winning the girls varsity division overall.
She also swam the 50 free and came in second overall in the varsity division.
Joshua Chevez swam a personal best in the 100 free in the varsity boys and then showed great effort in his 100 breast race.
The Bishop swimmers will next compete on March 22 at Dos Pueblos High.
