2 Cardinals, 2 Warriors on Frontier League first team

Bishop Diego and Carpinteria each landed two players on the All-Frontier League girls soccer first team.

Elisa Bernardi, a junior forward, and freshman midfielder Annalisa Morando were the first-team picks from Bishop.

Junior defender Tayla Muise and sophomore midfielder/defender Kelsey Drain earned top honors from Carpinteria.

Warriors on the second team were junior goalkeeper Sally Lam and junior defender Shirley Benitez.

Sophomore forward Lauren Underwood and sophomore midfielder Jordan Price were the Cardinals chosen to the second team.

Carpinteria’s honorable mention picks were: Shelby Dunlap, senior forward; Carol Guerrero, sophomore midfielder, and Meli Musson, senior defender.

Honorable mention players from Bishop included Amanda Garcia, sophomore defender; Catriona Reddington, junior defender, and Kim Ruiz, junior goalkeeper.
