Dylan Houck led three Cougars in double-figures on Wednesday, as Ventura remained undefeated in the Channel League with a 60-43 victory at Dos Pueblos.
Houck scored 12 while Jared Wilson and Zach Gwin tallied 11 each. Ventura (22-2, 10-0) defeated DP in all three meetings this season by an average of 15 points.
Dos Pueblos fell behind 23-11 after the first quarter but outscored the Cougars in the middle-two quarters to make it a 9-point game entering the final period.
The Chargers (10-11, 3-6) have three games left on their regular season schedule, starting with Santa Barbara on Friday night. Buena and San Marcos also remain on the schedule. The Chargers are chasing San Marcos for the league’s third playoff spot.
