Santa Barbara High’s girls basketball team wrapped up its regular season on Monday with a 55-45 loss to Ventura at J.R. Richards Gym.
The Dons will finish third in the Channel League with three losses, behind Ventura and Buena. The Bulldogs and Cougars play on Wednesday for the league title.
Tessa Emerson and Sylvia Hoover matched each other’s 11 points for the Dons’ team lead. Emerson added 11 rebounds and three blocks to her point total.
Santa Barbara finished league play with a 5-3 record and holds a final regular season record of 17-9.
