UCSB spikers rise to No. 3 in coaches’ poll

A sweep over UCLA and a split with second-ranked BYU helped the UCSB men’s volleyball move up to No. 3 in the latest AVCA coaches poll.

The No. 3 ranking is the highest for the Gauchos since 2007, when they were also ranked third. The Gauchos have been on a steady climb in the rankings this season, jumping from eighth to sixth to fourth to third.

UCSB (9-6 and 7-5 in the MPSF) travels to Pacific and Stanford this weekend.
