The Warriors (20-7, 12-7 GSAC) edged out Fresno Pacific on the board 35-32 but the big difference in the game was turnovers. The Warriors forced the Sunbirds into 19 turnovers while committing only 10.

With one game remaining in the Golden State Athletic Conference season, Westmont remains in a tie with No. 16 Vanguard (15-9, 11-7) for fourth place in the conference standings. The Warriors will close out the regular season by hosting Concordia at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. At the same time, Vanguard will host The Master’s.

Westmont and Vanguard will face each other in the first round of the upcoming GSAC Tournament. The only question to be decided is where the game will be played. If Westmont wins on Saturday, or if Westmont and Vanguard should lose, the Warriors will host the showdown. The first-round game will be played on Wednesday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m.
